Oregon Ducks baseball game against Portland Pilots postponed

Mario Cristobal's first staff as Oregon's head coach is close to being complete with the reported hiring of offensive line coach Alex Mirabal.

Mirabal went to high school in Miami with Cristobal and was a high school coach in south Florida for 15 years before joining Cristobal's staff at Florida International and coaching the offensive line. He has spent the past five years coaching the same position at Marshall.

The Huntington Herald-Dispatch reported the hiring. The Thundering Herd allowed the fourth-fewest sacks in the FBS last season.

Mirabal would be UO's 10th and final full-time assistant.
