Oregon Ducks are No. 3 in the national women's track rankings, UO men are No. 10

The University Oregon remains in contention for the NCAA women's outdoor track and field title according to rankings released Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Performances last weekend by ChaQuinn Cook in the triple jump (45 feet, 7 inches), Sabrina Southerland in the 800 meters (2 minutes, 1.44 seconds) and Jessica Hull in the 1,500 (4:10.46), helped the Ducks move up one spot to No. 3 in the national rankings.

The UO men dropped four spots, from No. 6 to No. 10.

Here are the top five teams in the USTFCCCA's women's rankings: LSU, USC, Oregon, Georgia and Arkansas.
