The No. 23 Oregon Ducks found themselves in a 14-0 hole after the first quarter in Columbus. The No. 12 Ohio State Buckeyes started the game with a fire lit under them after losing to the No. 20 USC Trojans the week prior.
But the Ducks didn’t fold. Oregon scored 17 points in the second quarter, en route to 38 points unanswered and a 41-28 win.
“Yeah, we're like cockroaches, man. We won't die,” Oregon coach Dan Lanning said postgame.
Oregon didn’t give up after losing its third game in Week 8 and watching its College Football Playoff hopes dwindle away.
