The Oregon Ducks tried to keep it close in the second half, succeeding on several occasions to pull within two points, but with under two minutes to go, the Oregon Offense went dormant allowing the Cougars to reel off 10 points in less than a minute to pull off the upset over the 8th ranked Ducks.
For Washington Stat CJ Ellerby finished with a game-high 25 points and the Ducks had no answers as he was 9 for 20 from the floor as the Cougars hit better than 50 percent from three-point range in the game. Both teams came away with double-digit turnovers turning into 20 points for each team respectively.
