Oregon backup OT Steven Jones (concussion) doubtful, LB corps on mend

EUGENE -- Oregon will likely be without backup offensive tackle Steven Jones due to concussion protocol against Arizona State, but several of the Ducks injured last week have returned to practice and are expected to play, including two linebackers.

Ducks coach Mario Cristobal said a decision on Jones, who went down during the fourth quarter against Utah and has not practiced this week, would be made later on Wednesday but the freshman is "doubtful" for Saturday night against the Sun Devils.

Oregon prepared to ride CJ Verdell, if healthy, or call on Travis Dye to be lead RB

Had Jones been able to return Oregon would've had to decide whether to keep him on the bench or to start him at left tackle and move Calvin Throckmorton to right guard in place of Dallas Warmack.
