One of the most annoying traditions in college basketball is that of the Arizona fans who remain standing until the opposing team scores; aesthetically as well as practically, it is important that the Ducks get off to a good start against the Wildcats. The Ducks didn’t do this against either USC or UCLA and won both games; both of those games were in MKA, where the Ducks have now won 20 straight; this game is in McKale Center, where the Wildcats have won 49 in a row.
Arizona is coming in to the game off of a 75-74 loss to California, and they also were swept earlier in the season by USC and UCLA.
