EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon closer Stephen Nogosek has been named a preseason third-team All-America by Perfect Game.
Nogosek (Roseville, Calif. / Woodcreek H.S.) is one of just six relievers nationwide named to the three Perfect Game All-America Teams. The junior finished last season with a 6-3 record and a 2.02 ERA, while setting a school record with 39 appearances in his role as the set-up man for closer Garrett Cleavinger. The right-hander struck out 60 batters in 58.0 innings pitched and held opponents to an impressive .196 batting average in 2015.
