FORT WORTH, Texas — Oregon's Bo Nix is one of 35 quarterbacks named to the preseason watch list for the 2023 Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award, the Davey O'Brien Foundation announced on Tuesday morning.
Nix returns to the preseason watch list after being named a semifinalist for the 2022 Davey O'Brien Award. Nix is one of 15 returning semifinalists on the list, and one of four Pac-12 quarterbacks along with Caleb Williams (USC), Michael Penix Jr. (Washington) and Cameron Rising (Utah).
The Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award is presented annually to the nation's best college quarterback and is the oldest and most prestigious national quarterback award.
