NCAA Honors Two Programs For Academics

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon women's golf team continues to be among the nation's most academically elite programs, having earned the NCAA's Public Recognition Award for the ninth time in the 12-year history of the honor, it was announced Wednesday.

The UO men's tennis team also received the Public Recognition Award for its multi-year Academic Progress Rate as of the 2015-16 academic year. Programs are honored with the award for posting a multiyear APR in the top 10 percent nationally within their sport.

Single-year data from 2015-2016, and updated four-year averages, will be released by the NCAA for all teams on Wednesday, May 10.
