Mario Cristobal gives preview of Oregon Ducks' spring game format

For the first time in quite a while, Oregon's spring game could have a different look.

In past seasons, the Ducks have played football. Or, to borrow a phrase from former coach Mark Helfrich, they played a game that "closely resembled American football."

But Helfrich is gone. So is his successor, Willie Taggart.

And for the first spring game under new head coach Mario Cristobal, so too is a lot of Oregon's depth.

Because of various injuries in the two-deep, the Ducks didn't hold their customary player draft this week prior to the spring game.
