EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon softball team added to its roster for the upcoming 2019 season on Monday as head coach Melyssa Lombardi announced the signing of freshman catcher Terra McGowan.
A native of Mission Viejo, Calif., McGowan will be a true freshman for the Ducks this spring after spending the fall at Arizona State. McGowan was the No. 20 ranked player on the 2018 FloSoftball Hot 100 and No. 21 on the Extra Inning Softball Elite 100.
"Terra has a strong presence about her that will make her a great leader for this team," said Lombardi.
