Moments ago Jordan Seaton announced a decision to commit to Lane Kiffin at LSU, ending two weeks of speculation and intense bidding.
The 6-5, 330 offensive tackle was coveted by Miami, Texas, Mississippi State and the Ducks but in the end he chose the Tigers, their storied history and an NIL deal estimated to top $3 million. In his first year as the coach in Baton Rouge, the peripatetic Kiffin has brought in 40 transfers including top-rated portal quarterback Sam Leavitt, top-rated edge rusher Princewill Umanmielen and now the highest-rated tackle in Seaton.
The Ducks must pivot to the offensive linemen in their last three recruiting classes, which include Fox Crader, Trent Ferguson, Immanuel Iheanacho and Tommy Tofi, all four- and five-star recruits, some entering their third year in the program.
