EUGENE, Ore. - Women's basketball guard Sabrina Ionescu was named both the league's player of the week and the freshman of the week, the Pac-12 announced on Monday.
Since the Pac-12 started honoring a freshman of the week five years ago, this is just the second time in conference history that a player has swept both awards. Former UCLA guard Nirra Fields is the only other to accomplish the feat.
