EUGENE, Ore. - Oregon women's basketball guard Sabrina Ionescu has been named one of 10 semifinalists for the Naismith Trophy for Women's Player of the Year.
The junior, who has helped the No. 6 ranked Ducks to back-to-back Pac-12 regular season titles, is the only junior and is one of four guards to be included.
Ionescu is averaging 19.5 points, 7.2 rebounds and 8.1 assists per game this year while shooting 45.2 percent from the floor, 44.4 percent from three and 87.4 percent at the line. She has 242 assists compared to just 76 turnovers.
