EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon Acrobatics and Tumbling seniors Alyssa Hew and Sara Buchner got championship week started on a high note, earning national recognition days before the NCATA National Championships.
Hew earned NCATA All-American honors for the second year in a row, becoming Oregon's 10th two-time All-American. The Canadian was UO's go-to tumbler in the open pass, where she never scored below a 9.80. She was one of the only Ducks to compete in every event over the course of the season while also serving as a top, base and tumbler in the team event.
