SAN DIEGO – Stevie Hansen threw a no-hitter and Allee Bunker blasted two home runs as the Ducks swept Utah Valley and UC Riverside Friday to open the Campbell/Cartier Classic at SDSU Softball Stadium.
Hansen threw a six-inning no-hitter in the opening game against Utah Valley, striking out nine Wolverines in the Ducks' 9-0 win.
"I had no clue," said Hansen, unaware she was throwing a no-hitter. "It was kind of one of those things where you just get into the groove of the game and you're just focused on getting outs and getting your job done.
