SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Former Oregon track and field stars Phyllis Francis, Cyrus Hostetler, Matthew Centrowitz and Johnny Gregorek secured spots on the USA World Championships team on Saturday to headline the third day of the U.S. Outdoor Championships at Hornet Stadium.
Multiple other current and professional Ducks also set themselves up for a chance to qualify to the IAAF World Championships this August when the action wraps up in Sacramento on Sunday.
How it Happened: Francis was the first qualifier of the day for past and current Ducks, and fourth overall after Deajah Stevens, Ariana Washington and Eric Jenkins earned spots on Team USA on Friday.
