EUGENE, Ore. – For the second-consecutive year and just the third time in the modern era of Oregon baseball, four Ducks were selected in the top 10 rounds of the MLB Draft with Sabin Ceballos, Jace Stoffal, Colby Shade and Josh Mollerus coming off the board between rounds three and 10 on day two of the 2023 MLB Draft.
The selection of the four Ducks in the top 10 rounds matched the most ever in program history, joining both the 2011 and 2022 teams.
Ceballos was Oregon's first selection of the draft, going to the Atlanta Braves in the third round at pick 94.
