To new Oregon cornerbacks coach Rod Chance, relationships matter.
The relationships he formed while coaching cornerbacks at Minnesota last season made it tough to leave the Gophers after just one year. The relationships he had previously formed with players and staff at Oregon, including as an analyst in 2018, made that decision a little easier.
"Having the opportunity to compete for a Pac-12 Championship and to compete for a spot in the playoff was intriguing to me," Chance said Tuesday. "But more than anything, it was the relationships.
