The Denver Broncos plan to release safety T.J. Ward if they can't trade him, according to a report.
The report says the Broncos and the former Oregon star will "part ways" before the mandatory cutdown deadline of 1 p.m. Saturday.
The Broncos have reportedly been trying to move Ward, who has spent the last three seasons with the Broncos. They would prefer to get something in return for Ward, but are reportedly prepared to release him before the mandatory cut down deadline of 1 p.m. Saturday.
Ward will turn 31 in December, he is in the final year of his contract and the Broncos may be unwilling to met his contract demands.
