Former Cal quarterback Mike Pawlawski joined me on the Bald Faced Truth radio show (12-3p weekdays on Portland's 102.9-FM and Eugene's 95.7-FM) where he raved about Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert. Pawlawkski now works as a radio analyst on Cal football broadcasts.

"I actually walked into our meetings (after watching the Stanford-Oregon game) and said, 'I just watched the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft,'" Pawlawski said. "He was unbelievable, as good as you can see a college player perform. I think back to when we saw Aaron Rodgers at Cal against USC when he had 28 straight completions, only he wasn't throwing those deep seam balls.
