EUGENE, Ore. — Senior Marissa Everett scored two goals to lead the Ducks to a 2-0 Civil War victory over Oregon State Friday in front of 1,204 fans at Pape' Field.
Finishing at 9-9-1 overall (3-8 Pac-12), the ninth-largest crowd in school history saw the Ducks post their best season in a decade.
"When you play in the civil war, you have to throw out all statistics," said Everett. "It's about who wants it more, grit, and all out attitude. I think we came out today with all of those boxes checked; every single person wanted it, and we got the result.
