Dye named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week

EUGENE, Ore. – Sophomore inside linebacker Troy Dye has been named the Pac-12 Conference defensive player of the week following Oregon's 48-28 win over Arizona on Saturday.

Dye finished the game with a team-high 11 tackles, including a tackle for loss. The double-digit tackle effort was the sixth of the season for Dye, as well as the 11th of his career.

He led an Oregon defensive attack that held Arizona well below its season averages in points, total offense and rushing offense. The Wildcats entered the game third in the nation in both scoring (44.
