LA QUINTA, Calif. – Oregon came in fifth at The Prestige Presented by Charles Schwab against another tough field, finishing the event 17 over Wednesday at the PGA West Greg Norman Course. The Ducks shot 11 over in the final round, while Ryan Gronlund led the way with a 10th-place finish at even par for the week.
Oregon finished ahead of four teams that were ranked in the latest Golfstat rankings. The Ducks bested No. 25 Arkansas, No. 35 Northwestern, No. 39 Stanford and No. 46 Iowa State, marking the second straight event that Oregon played well against stiff competition.
