EUGENE, Ore – The 2015 Oregon volleyball team played its first match under the lights at Matthew Knight Arena in the annual Green and Yellow Scrimmage, Saturday.
Only a week into fall training, the match primarily served as another practice on the path to the season-opener on Aug. 28, but the competitive juices were flowing as the Yellow Team took down the Green Team, 19-25, 25-23, 25-21, 26-24.
Frankie Shebby led all players with 17 kills, while also helping her team of Taylor Agost, Alex Hojnar, Chelsey Keoho, Kacey Nady, August Raskie and returning alum Sonja Newcombe to victory.
