SEATTLE, Wash. – The Ducks are already off to a fast start heading into the Pac-12 Track and Field Championships next weekend thanks to 14 points from decathletes Mitch Modin and Joe Delgado at the Pac-12 Multi-Events Championships, Sunday.
Modin finished with 7,450 points for second place, a position he held for much of the meet. The junior fell into third with two events left but responded with a second-place finish in the javelin (180-7/55.05m) and nearly setting a personal best in the 1,500 at the end of the day with a time of 4:43.
