You couldn't script a better opener for the Ducks. They were bigger, faster, stronger and more focused, pulverizing the Big Sky Champion Montana State in Autzen Stadium, 59-13.

The Ducks scored the first nine times they got the ball, eight touchdowns and a field goal. Freshman running back Jordon Davison punched in three short touchdowns, using his powerful 235-pound frame to drive through the Bobcat line on scoring runs of 2, 8 and 1 yard.

As the new Oregon starting quarterback Dante Moore was crisp and accurate, reaching the sideline with out routes and zipping slant passes down the seam.
