EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon football team came in at No. 12 in the USA Today Sports AFCA coaches poll that was unveiled on Monday morning.
The Ducks will open the season at No. 12 for the second year in a row, and in the top 15 for the fourth straight season. Oregon is the second-highest ranked team in the Pac-12, trailing only No. 8 Utah. USC gives the conference three top-25 teams at No. 15.
