Ducks Lose Halftime Lead at USC

LOS ANGELES – Jillian Alleyne and Lexi Petersen combined for 45 points but it wasn’t enough as the Ducks lost, 74-67, to USC on Monday night at the Galen Center.

Oregon (11-2, 0-2 Pac-12) turned the ball over 21 times in the game, leading to 25 points for the Women of Troy.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Oregon took a four-point lead into halftime behind 10 points and 10 rebounds by Alleyne in opening 20 minutes. The Ducks’ defense held USC to just eight points in the second quarter.

That changed after the break, however, as USC outscored the Ducks 22-12 in the third quarter.
