Even as his team was finishing off an 11-0 run through nonconference play, UO women’s basketball coach Kelly Graves had no illusions about what loomed in the new year.
Oregon opened Pac-12 play in Los Angeles, then faced Oregon State twice last week. Tonight brings a visit to Matthew Knight Arena by Stanford (6 p.m., Pac-12 Networks), followed by a matinee against California on Sunday. In the Pac-12’s preseason poll of coaches, the Beavers and Cardinal were 1-2, with Cal and UCLA tied for fourth and USC seventh.
“We circled these six games,” Graves said.
