Ducks Knock Off Trojans

EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon men’s basketball team held its own against one of the Pac-12 Conference’s most prolific offenses and knocked off a ranked team for the second time this season, beating No. 21 USC 89-81 on Thursday before 8,471 in Matthew Knight Arena.

How It Happened: After weathering a USC storm to open the game, Oregon (15-4, 4-2 Pac-12) tightened up on both ends of the floor to hand the Trojans just their second loss of conference play. USC, the Pac-12 leader in made threes, held an early 18-14 lead thanks to three early three-pointers.
