EUGENE, Ore. -- The Oregon women’s basketball team’s three-game winning streak was tripped up by No. 8 ASU as the Sun Devils won, 63-58, over the Ducks Friday night at Matthew Knight Arena. Jillian Alleyne led UO with 19 points and 21 rebounds, her 86th career double-double, which set a new Pac-12 record.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Ducks (14-6, 3-6 Pac-12) led for almost the entire first half but were outscored 26-6 in the third quarter as ASU (18-3, 9-0 Pac-12) used sharp shooting and stingy defense to disrupt Oregon’s offense.
