EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon track and field team has secured 61 qualifiers for next weekend's NCAA West Preliminary meet in Sacramento, Calif., the NCAA announced on Thursday.
The Ducks will have a total of 32 entries on the women's side and 29 for the men as they try and advance as many student-athletes as possible to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field (June 6-9).
The NCAA West Preliminary meet will begin next Thursday, May 24, and will run through Saturday, May 26. The top 12 finishers in each event will advance to Eugene for the NCAA Championships.
