The Ducks had one thing on mind as they prepared for the game against Utah on the road; get off to a good start, and they did. The Ducks improved to 3-1 in conference play after their dominating 77-59 beat down of the Utes, a very rare occurrence for the Utes at the John H.Huntsman Center.
The Ducks started fast, getting out to a 8-0 lead, fueled by two 3’s by Casey Benson. Utah would never lead or tie, though they did get as close as 21-19 at the 10 minute mark in the first half.
