EUGENE, Ore. - Jenna Lilley hit a two-run single in the fifth inning and the Ducks defeated Utah, 3-2, on Saturday to end the regular season with a series win.
Senior Cheridan Hawkins was masterful for the Ducks (44-8, 20-4 Pac-12) as well, picking up the complete game win with two runs (both unearned) allowed on five hits and two walks with seven strikeouts. Hawkins also picked up a win in the first game of the series, when the Ducks clinched a fourth-straight Pac-12 title.
"That's an important win right there," Hawkins said.
