BOULDER, Colo. – The Ducks held the Buffs to just 31.1 percent shooting and the Oregon women’s basketball team defeated Colorado, 59-46, on Friday night at the Coors Events Center.
Oregon (13-5, 2-5 Pac-12) won its second straight game. Jillian Alleyne and Lexi Bando each scored 14 points to lead the Ducks while Alleyne tallied her 84th career double-double with a game-high 15 rebounds. She is just one double-double away from matching Chiney Ogwumike’s Pac-12 record of 85 double-doubles.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Colorado jumped out to a 12-4 lead early as the Ducks went just 1-for-7 from the floor in the opening eight minutes.
