EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon baseball team batted around in the fifth and sixth innings Sunday afternoon, giving the Ducks an 11-5 victory and a series win over No. 9 California before 1,398 in PK Park.
How It Happened: The Ducks (14-12, 4-5 Pac-12) got out to an early lead on a first-inning home run by A.J. Balta, his second in two days and sixth of the season. Cal couldn’t touch UO starter David Peterson through three innings, but the Golden Bears (19-9, 8-4) broke through against the UO bullpen for a 2-1 lead in the fourth.
