Ducks 4th in Pac-12 Poll

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon Ducks are picked to finish fourth in the 2016 Pac-12 Preseason Baseball Coaches’ Poll released today.

UO received 71 points behind only Oregon State, UCLA and California. The Ducks won 38 games in 2015 before ending their season at the Springfield (Mo.) Regional in the NCAA Tournament.

Oregon returns seven starting position players off the 2015 team, and another starter off the 2014 squad who missed last season with an injury. The Ducks head into 2016 with a starting rotation that features three experienced left-handed pitchers – Cole Irvin, Matt Krook and David Peterson – who have combined to make 54 starts over the last three seasons.
