Duarte's Energy Fuels 2OT Victory

EUGENE, Ore. — Two teams that both came back from double-digit second-half deficits last week figured to go down to the wire when they faced off Thursday, and the matchup between Oregon and USC didn't disappoint.

Chris Duarte scored seven of the Ducks' first nine points in the second overtime Thursday night at Matthew Knight Arena to help the No. 12 UO men hold off the Trojans, 79-70. The Ducks (16-4, 5-2 Pac-12) had the last shot in both regulation and the first overtime but couldn't convert, finally pulling away thanks to Duarte's energy to start the second overtime.
