-- It's hard for me to believe Oregon State coach Cory Hall has to defend his sideline demeanor.
Among many things that came up yesterday in his weekly news conference, Hall said his enthusiasm has been drawing fire from critics.
"Some people have an issue with how I act on the sideline," Hall said. "Well, I'm different. And if you wanted something carbon copy, you should have gotten something carbon copy. ... "
Amen.
Does anybody else remember the listless, lifeless OSU sideline this season when coach Gary Andersen would stand there tall, stiff and stoic?
