Dismal day at the Big House quiets playoff, Heisman trash talk in Seattle

The next best thing to an Oregon win is a Washington loss, and perfect Saturdays are the ones where Duck fans get both.

Saturday morning in Ann Arbor, Michigan crushed Demond Williams and the Huskies, 24-6, intercepting three of Williams' passes and holding leading rusher Jonah Coleman to 16 carries for 50 yards.

In their two games against Michigan and Ohio State this year, Dedd Fisch and UW have lost 24-6 and 24-7. They've beaten Colorado State, UC Davis and Washington State, came from behind against Maryland and Rutgers to reach 5-2.

Their schedule remains favorable down the stretch with a home game against Illinois, last place Purdue and Wisconsin, then at 2-4 UCLA before closing with the Ducks in Seattle.
