Dillon Brooks' Oregon career is over as he declares for NBA draft, hires agent

Pac-12 Conference player of the year Dillon Brooks will forgo his senior season at Oregon after entering the NBA draft and hiring an agent.

Brooks announced his intention Wednesday morning on social media but did not say whether he had hired an agent. Later, an Oregon spokesman confirmed Brooks has hired an agent, which ends his collegiate eligibility.

"I've done so much here and everything being great, I wouldn't be here right now without coaching staff, believing in me," Brooks said in a video posted to the website Positionless.com. "I was not highly recruited and they believed in me from the jump.
