Diamond Ducks Pick Up A Weekend Sweep

Oregon softball picked up the weekend sweep against the Indiana Hoosiers, but it wasn’t exactly the walk in the park that perhaps it should have been.

Elise Sokolsky started in the circle, initially pitched well, and for a while early on it looked like the Ducks were going to cruise to another win against an overmatched opponent.

Oregon wasted no time scoring to start the game, and used a flurry of singles to go up 3-0 in the first inning. After the Hoosiers went scoreless in the bottom of the inning, Kedre Luschar hit a triple in the second inning to score the runner on third base, and the Ducks were up 4-0.
