Haley Cruse and Brooke Yanez both earned third-team All-America honors following stellar 2021 seasons, the NFCA announced on Wednesday. Cruse and Yanez are the 26th and 27th All-Americans in program history while this marks the 10th time that Oregon has had multiple players earn All-America recognition.
Yanez turned in one of the best seasons in program history by a pitcher, striking out the third-most batters in a year in UO history with 268 while leading the Pac-12 and sitting in 13th nationally with 10.29 strikeouts per seven innings. She went 22-6 with a 2.
