STANFORD, Calif. — Oregon battled back from a six-run third-inning deficit to hand Stanford a 16-13 loss and clinch the series win on Saturday at Sunken Diamond.
The Ducks' six through nine hitters in the order combined for nine hits, 12 RBI and nine runs scored in the win.
Junior second baseman , who went 3-for-5 with a career-high four RBI, had a two-out RBI triple to pull the Ducks within one in the fifth inning before delivering a two-out, three-RBI double in the top of the eighth to cap Oregon's six-run inning and give the Ducks a 14-9 lead.
