Dave Bartoo from the College Football Matrix says that winning for Oregon may not be enough. The College Football Playoff Committee has their eye specifically on game control, “How long does it take you to get a lead and maintain it. This week you are rooting for Auburn. Oregon needs to win their games big. They need to blow people out. When you facing such weak opponents, all it will do is crush your strength of schedule. They are top 30 right now. In a few weeks, they will be outside the top 60.”
Facing non ranked opponents the last three weeks of the regular season will not help Oregon, so winning games and having complete games becomes more important.
