Former Oregon and current UCLA coach Chip Kelly is building his first staff in Los Angeles with faces familiar to Ducks fans.
Former Ducks assistant coach Don Pellum will coach the Bruins' linebackers in 2018. The hiring was first reported by NBC Sports Northwest and confirmed by The Oregonian/OregonLive.
Pellum will reportedly work under defensive coordinator Jerry Azzinaro, whose hiring was reported by the Southern California News Group.
Both coaches worked at Oregon during Kelly's four-year run as head coach from 2009-12, a stretch in which UO compiled a 46-7 record and played in four consecutive Bowl Championship Series bowl games.
