Chip Kelly was fired today from his head coaching spot by the Philadelphia Eagles. In three years with the Eagles, Kelly complied a 26-21 overall record. His first two season’s were his best as he went 10-6 both seasons. In his first season with Philadelphia he won a conference title, the first Eagles coach to do so in his first season. He also proved his critics wrong, it was said an up-tempo called system wouldn’t work at the NFL level.
Kelly’s second season was much of the same success and he looked like he would stay a head coach at the highest level for many years to come.
