Cazorla Selected in WNBA Draft

EUGENE, Ore. - Oregon women's basketball guard Maite Cazorla was selected by the Atlanta Dream on Wednesday in the 2019 WNBA draft.

Cazorla was taken with the 11th pick of the second round and the 23rd pick overall.

She is the eighth player in program history to be drafted and the first since forward Jillian Alleyne was take with the 20th overall pick in the 2016 draft.

Cazorla started and played in 146 career games over her four-year career in Eugene, both program records. She averaged 10.1 points and 4.7 assists per game while shooting 45.
