Three and out... naturally... on Willie Taggart.
1) Florida State stunk up Doak Campbell Stadium on Monday night. Willie Taggart's first game as the Seminoles' coach resulted in a 24-3 loss to Virginia Tech and a lot of salty reaction from the Pacific Northwest. It was a catharsis for a lot of Ducks' fans.
And why not?
Taggart ditched Oregon for his dream job in Tallahassee. That was understandable, I suppose. He grew up there. It's a good job. All that, we get. But the sore feelings are rooted in the manner in which Taggart blew town and trampled Oregon in the process.
